2012 Event Schedule
Arctic Fever is still ON! Join us for the warm weather version of a Minnesota winter. Although the ice and snow portion of the event has changed, there is plenty of outdoor fun planned for the entire family. The American Legion Ice Fishing contest has been cancelled and is rescheduled for February 18, 2012. Online registration begins here on January 13.

Wagon Rides on Water Street, 11 am-3 pm
Reindeer, near the public dock, Excelsior Commons, Noon-4 pm

Brain Balance, 386 Oak Street, Catch the Fever Open House, 12 pm-3 pm
Event includes refreshments, lego snowboard races, craft and coloring.

Tonka Bay
Due to lack of ice, Tonka Bay events are cancelled for 2012.
The owl show has moved to Freeman Park in Shorewood.

Winterwear Design Contest
Get your knitting needles clicking! It's time to start knitting, crocheting, weaving and sewing winterwear! Arctic Fever 2012 will feature a Winterwear Exhibition for talented residents of all levels. Make mittens, hats, scarves, socks--any great winterwear. Drop off the winterwear at Shorewood City Hall, or Southshore Community Center by January 13 for display during the Snow Princess Tea.
Submission of the articles are due to Southshore Community Center by January 13, 2012.

complete with tiny sandwiches, tea and cocoa, delicate desserts, beautiful harp music, storytelling by the Arctic Fever Snow Princess and the chance to win a completely
outfitted American Girl doll and other prizes! (must be present to win)
